Ideal if you have upgraded the engine output and want the transmission to stay together.

Offering the only valve body upgrade for the A442F that fixes the issue of lower regulated line pressure when in D. If you didn’t know you needed such a thing then, you’re like everybody else.

What are we talking about? We’ve had a number of valve bodies over the years form major suppliers that aim to raise internal pressures on the clutches and reduce the time between gears. Thats great, but we only realised when monitoring line pressure, that significantly higher line pressure is seen while in L,2 or reverse. We consulted specialist who investigated a solution and resolved it.

Why? When turbo diesel engines are making more power and torque than ever and we want to put in D and push it hard we need the max line pressure and NOT +60psi LESS because I expect the gearbox to change gears itself.

Available for the cable (80 and 105 series) and 5 solenoid (UZJ100 and HDJ100) valve bodies.

If you are experiencing clunky gears at lower throttle positions, then if you have:

  • a turbo diesel 80 series or 105, consider the PDI LPC to regulate the pressures based on manifold pressure (boost).

  • a HDJ100 or UZJ100 then aftermarket control of the transmission and line pressure is the way forward. These 5 solenoid valve bodies also have a weak spring that pushes closed the line pressure solenoid and results in overall diminishing line pressure with age. An aftermarket controller can be used to fix this. We recommend the Shift Kits Australia unit.
