Why Trust Performance Diesel Intercoolers with a VDJ200 Upgrade

We are an established company in the industry and have been for several years. After pursuing full power capabilities in modern diesel engines, we’ve gained the knowledge and experience to provide the best solutions to our customers.

• We developed our high-efficiency intercoolers after years of research. We concluded that a customised installation was required for a front mount intercooler.

• If you use a 200 series intercooler for towing or is loaded up then often more power is the next consideration.  After the installation of a module or an ECU reflash, the next step should be changing to a front mounted intercooler.

• We hear many reports from people towing the caravan and finding the power is reduced and on some larger hills that the power is de-rated so much that they end up going the last part in 3rd gear. This is due to the factory intercooler limitations being exceeded and the engine pulling fuel from the system due to expected rising combustion temperatures.

• A PDI front mount will make the engine feel stronger with the cooler ait and maintain torque while under load. On our own 200 series we did an intercooler and ECU reflash. It drove like it was a cold day all the time and had a few people convinced it was fitted with upgraded injectors or turbos. Like the 400hp GTurbo 200 series, it too, ran a standard exhaust system.

GTurbo have been producing high flow turbos for the 200 series for a number of years now. As they have been refining the tune and provide a package that meets demanding customers expectations that have come up with a neat package to give 400hp (at the wheels). This is:

• Replacement twin turbos

• upgraded injectors

• PDI front mount

• ECU reflash

Note the exhaust is not listed and even with the DPF system and factory exhaust in place they have managed to provide a result which is impressive to drive.
