The factory intercooler is 450×180 and is 80mm thick/deep. Ford has snuck it under the radiator for all 4 engine/ gearbox combinations (including the Raptor).
The new PDI core is 700 x 370 x 76 with slighter tighter end tank setup. This new design works with our class leading PDI transmission cooler kits, which need to be a serious consideration for any owners of the auto transmission model.

Fully cast end tanks ensures they are the strongest possible and least likely to split along a seam. We aim to replace the rubber hoses with push on connections (at the bottom) with stainless and a silicon joiner at each end.
Will be supplied with robust silicon joiners and clamps to go underneath and join into the factory plumbing. This means the problematic push together connections are removed from the system.
Our intercoolers will lower intake temperatures and these have been a great mod on many vehicles.
We have seen on the next gen V6 Rangers, the radiator design is just enough and have seen situations that under increased load (towing a large caravan) where the addition of extra coolers in front of the radiator, result in engine temps rising. This is disappointing vehicle design flaw and we hope someone might release an upgraded radiator.
